One Step Closer | Pinky and Nash’s Shagun Ceremony
Atlanta Indian Wedding Photographer

Nash popped the question and Pinky said Yes! And so the couple decided to make their relationship official within their families.

This is the first post of Pinky + Nash’s pre-wedding and wedding photos. The beauty of their wedding comes forth in the numerous Indian traditions that are associated with the special celebration. Shagun ceremony marks the beginning of the Indian wedding celebration. This was a simple and cozy event attended by close family and friends. They offered blessings to this sweet couple.

The families of prospective bride and groom exchanged gifts in order to confirm their engagement. As a part of the ceremony the “Shagun Thali” from groom’s family containing clothes and jewelry is given to bride as a token of good luck.

The beautiful ceremony was followed by lunch and entertainment. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious!

Thank you Pinky and Nash for the privilege capturing your beautiful celebration!

Ahoy! I’m ONE
Josiah’s 1st Birthday Party

It constantly amazes me how a tiny soul can grow so much in one year of life. Gazing back, I remember taking Lidya’s precious maternity pictures a year before. It was an unforgettable milestone for this sweet couple when their second baby boy, Josiah came into this world. He completes the already beautiful family circle: Lidya + Justin, and Josiah’s big brother, Jayden.

Lidya couldn’t have planned a more fitting party for her little prince, Josiah.  It was a pleasure capturing Josiah’s adorable Nautical theme birthday party, as well as a joy of making a custom cake and dessert table for the birthday boy.  Lidya and Justin invited family and friends celebrating Josiah’s wonderful one party, and this birthday party was truly a blast. It brought the fun spirit in all of us. It was a great experience to capture.

Congratulations Lidya and Justin for your handsome little fellas, Jayden and Josiah. Happy first birthday Josiah!
